Alberta Synchrotron Institute (www.asi-cls.ca) The Alberta Synchrotron Institute is a partnership of the Universities of Alberta, Calgary and Lethbridge, and is funded by ASRA, AHFMR and WED. It's mandate is to increase the awareness of synchrotron technologies to Alberta researchers in Universities, Government and Industry. It is also involved in facilitating the access and travel to foreign synchrotrons while the CLS is being built. DK3 has provided set-up, management and outreach functions for the ASI, as well as facilitating industrial synchrotron awareness and demonstration projects.
